Lori Wong is a conservator committed to improving approaches and strategies for protecting and conserving cultural heritage sites. Since 2002 she has worked at the Getty Conservation Institute on such sites as the Mogao Grottoes in China, the tomb of King Tutankhamen in Egypt, and Kasbah Taourirt in Morocco. Lori is coordinator of the Murals, Stone and Rock Art Working Group of the International Council of Museums - Committee for Conservation (ICOM-CC), a Fellow of the International Institute for Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works (IIC), a member of the US National Committee of the International Council on Monuments and Sites (US/ICOMOS) and an Expert Member of the International Scientific Committee on Earthen Architectural Heritage (ISCEAH). A graduate of the Courtauld Institute of Art, Lori has expanded her focus toward longer-term strategies for innovative management and protection of heritage sites through an MBA at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
