A Year in Review - a note from the Editor:
2020 will always be defined as the year of the Covid-19 pandemic; a year when bizarre rumours from afar rapidly became unprecedented realities at home.
The ‘one-worldliness’ of the pandemic reminded us of many important issues that had been overlooked and of matters that had been taken for granted.
For the Bradshaw Foundation, working with the Rock Art Network, one of our main values is the preservation of rock art around the world. So we look back at the year from this perspective, from those professionals involved in research to those members of the public who discovered it for the first time. We will share on social media the breaking news throughout 2020; news of exciting discoveries, of devastating destruction, of reflection and of adaptation.
I begin with one of my favourite books this year: Kindred: Neanderthal life, love, death and art by Rebecca Wragg Sykes
